Didn't know the place existed. The atmosphere and interior design is great, wobbly table too which is normal. Service was great, but the food.. Was so so. I ordered the 2 plate with 2 sides: moist brisket with baby ribs, beans, Mac & cheese and came with jalapeño corn bread with a lemonade. Foos came out fast, which was expected. Here is my breakdown: 1. Brisket: huge pieces, was surprised of the size BUT they were kinda cold and a little flavorless. 2. Ribs: they were at a good temperature, nice size but also flavorless. 3. Beans: yeah I will never get them again, zero flavor Mac: Best dish of the plate. It was delicious. Corn bread: flavorless. They have other items to try of course. Will probably to again to try the other plates but will avoid the two items that I listed above

This place is magical. Food is amazing, bbq is tender, portions are massive. Sides are home style and perfect. Atmosphere is clean, quiet, very serene. However, The true stars of this place are the staff members. They are attentive, professional and just amazing people. One of my top bbq spots in ELP.

Review based on take out, trying food here for the first time. Ordered 2 Meats + 2 Sides. Brisket and Turkey with Green Chile Mac n Cheese and Pineapple coleslaw. The brisket and turkey were good. It had its tender parts. Green Chile Mac n Cheese was amazing, pineapple coleslaw could’ve been better. The quantity for the price i paid was definitely on the better side, good portions. Would recommend 7.5/10.

The food is absolutely delicious! I went with a party of 13 and we all loved it and enjoyed it very much. Lauren our server was really ubeat and friendly. Her service was remarkable, especially for such a big table. I loved the instalations. It made me feel like i was in another city. What really striked me was the story behind this restaurant that i really want to share. Hallelujah! BBQ was created to employ and equip people who have experienced homelessness, including past residents of the Rescue Mission and graduates of Rescue Mission's Drug and Alcohol Relapse Prevention Program. Their team is trained to get jobs in the food service industry and they learn to cook while rebuilding their lives. Every server and every cook has a story. It's actually printed and is on the table they are serving. So when we eat at Hallelujah! BBQ, we're supporting recovery and someone's chance at a new life.They strive to provide a safe and encouraging work environment for those trying to get back up on their feet and those pursuing a sober life! So, not only do we get to eat delicious food, but we get to meet them and be part of their lives. I totally recommend Haleluyah BBQ!

Went here for lunch with family based on great and in fact the best reviews for all bbq places in El Paso. Was excited to try the food based on reviews. Unfortunately it was quite a disappointment overall. Not sure how an why people rate it as such. It was satisfying to support the rescue mission but not what we expected. Not sure how people can possibly rate food so high. MA h other of local bbq places much better. Dinning hall was nice.
